A field trip to Sing-Chi Farm in Yongjing Township was a wonderful learning experience for the teachers and students of Fu-Der Elementary School.

Under the guidance of the tour guide, the students had fun exploring the farm and met many cute animals, like turkeys in their pens, and playful goats and rabbits. The children not only got close to the animals, but also had a chance to give them food.

This fun activity taught the students how important it is to respect and take care of all living things. They also got to do a hands-on project, making small snacks, and seeing how food gets from the farm to our tables. 

This gave them a real taste of the simple joys of farm life.

Fude Elementary School had a super fun "Summer Learning Camp" this year. The camp mixed learning English with learning about farms and nature. It was a fun way for kids to learn about their hometown's farms and use English at the same time.

In English class, students learned about yummy fruits and vegetables from their town. The teachers used fun games and videos to help students learn their names and colors in English. Students also learned about all the parts of a plant: the roots, stems, leaves, flowers, fruits, and seeds. They even played guessing games to learn about different farm animals.

The camp helped students learn many new English words while playing and having fun. Students also learned how their food grows on a farm and how it gets to their table.

This camp was a great success. It helped the kids get better at English and feel more connected to their hometown and nature. The students left with new knowledge and a better understanding of where their food comes from.

On August 7th, students from Fude Elementary School went on a special trip to Taisheng Farm in Yongjing, Changhua.

The students learned all about organic farming. They listened to a presentation about how organic vegetables are grown and why it's so important to eat healthy food. They also found out that growing organic crops is a lot of hard work!

Next, they got a cool behind-the-scenes tour. The kids saw how vegetables are cleaned and prepared for sale. They even got to visit several refrigerated rooms to see how the vegetables are stored to keep them fresh. It was a chilly and very interesting part of the tour!

At the end of the day, Taisheng Farm gave each student a special gift: a pepper seedling. The kids were excited to take their new plants home to watch them grow and maybe even harvest their own peppers someday. It was a fun and educational day that showed everyone how much goes into getting fresh food from the farm to the table.

This summer, kids at Fude Elementary School had so much fun learning English! The special summer camp just ended, and everyone is excited about all the cool things they did.

Little Chefs!

One of the best parts was being Little Chefs. The kids worked together to make yummy pizzas and hamburgers. They learned English words for all the food and felt so proud when they tasted what they made!

Creative Fun!

The students also used their imaginations in art class. They learned how to fold colorful paper into little frogs. They also drew pictures about their favorite stories and even made their very own storybooks. It was a fun way to learn and be creative at the same time!

Games and Stories!

Learning English was easy because of all the fun games and videos. The kids played games and watched English movies that made learning new words easy and exciting.

Everyone had a great time learning and making new friends. Now, they are ready for the new school year with big smiles and a lot of new skills!
